PackFit shrinks your Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ZIP files entirely on your device. Your files are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored anywhere. We collect no personal data.
All processing happens locally in your browser using JavaScript (fflate for unzipping/rezipping and HTML canvas for image recompression). Your files never leave your computer. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and PackFit keeps working.
The PackFit browser extension collects nothing: no analytics, no telemetry, no cookies, no account. If we ever add privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to the website version, they will never include your files or any personal data, and this policy will be updated first.
Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy (their privacy policy applies to checkout). Your license key is stored only in your browser's local storage and is verified offline — no license server, no phone-home.
